We had the chance to test the EV9 for several hours on a local highway and found it to be easy to drive and comfortable for long distances. The EV9 can be used to block road noise and wind while on the highway. It is smooth on bumps and ruts. The acceleration of the vehicle is astonishingly fast, and it comes with adjustable regenerative brakes to enable “one-pedal driving” simply by lifting off the accelerator. The EV9 has a great range and can be fully charged within three hours at home, or with any commercial charger. The driver can choose from two operating modes: eco mode and sport mode. Eco mode focuses on torque and cruise control, as well as handling while sport mode focuses on speed.
